SImple. I work in a factory where i don’t have to think much and i need something to occupy my mind. So, I have decided to learn spanish to start with, and then other languages later. Though, given the responses I recieve to this question, I might change which language I choose.

But.. are you talking about podcasts? If that.. well.. I don’t know many for Spanish. Only two, and they are for rather advanced students. I’ve come found a very interesting Japanese one at http://www.japanesepod101.com .

Digital TV automatically sends spanish language stations on my TV. Then I cannot view English stations that I very much want to see.
How can I rid my TV of the spanish stations?

In the menu for the TV, look for a channel list. Turn on SKIP for the spanish stations.

I am a university student taking beginner spanish as a required credit and I am having difficulty understanding spoken Spanish. This is a problem because 90% of what the professsor says is in Spanish. Does anyone know of websites where I can find Spanish-language movies, tv shows, even audio files for free. Thanks so much for the help!

"C" reactive protein blood test may be requested to check general inflammation in a person’s circulatory system. I need to request this test in Mexico, hence I need the spanish language translation.

Yes, I know . . . it’s a little late. But anyhow, I’m taking the AP spanish language exam tomorrow, and I’m kind of freaking out because I don’t feel like I’ve been prepared enough in class (although I’ve been studying like crazy on my own).

So, for people that have taken this exam in particular (or are in the same boat that I’m in right now):

How difficult is this exam?
How much is it curved?
Any last minute helpful hints or tips or insights?

I’m writing to report about the existence of a new educational resource for learning spanish as a foreign language (www.audiria.com). It’s a web page totally free for teachers as well as for students. You will find daily a new audio file about very different topics (Spanish culture, grammar, novels, news, radio, daily scenes, El Quijote). Audio files are accompanied by the corresponding texts (also for free) and exercises where you can check your understanding degree.

when i use the spanish language for Microsoft Word 2007, I pretty much can type in anything and it states that there is no spelling or grammar errors. I didn’t have this problem with my 2003 version. its really annoying and if anyone knows anything on how to fix this problem, please let me know. since i need for my spanish courses for writing papers and such.

Use this to set up spell and grammar checking in spanish. Note that the Spanish proofing tools must also be installed from the Office CD.

1.Press CTRL/A to select the entire document.
2.Click the Review tab on the Ribbon.
3.In the Proofing section, click Set Language.
4.Select the language you want in the list box.
5.To make this the default language for future documents, click the Default button.
6.Click Yes in the message box.
7.Click OK.

That should do it.
