spanish programs

good spanish programs?

what r sum good programs 4 learning spanish or other languages.

My personal favorite is Fluenz. You can get it @ Barnes and Noble, Amazon, lots of places.I think it is just as good as some of the pricier programs, (Fluenz Costs about $200) and you just need the CD for your computer basically. It is how I learned Italian! I believe they offer Spanish, French, Italian, and Mandarin. Good luck!

What are the best programs out there for learning Spanish. The real world spanish.?

What is the best book or program for everyday Spanish. I have taken courses in Spanish, but didn’t help much. Hispanics speak alot differently in the real world. Any suggestions?

I studied for two years and couldnt learn spanish so I went and lived in argentina and I was speaking fluently in 6 months, thats the only way to learn spanish.

best school for a major in spanish? and good study abroad programs?

i want to go to school in the US, i live in arkansas, and i want to major in spanish to be a translator. what are the best schools for a major in spanish? i’d also liek to study abroad in spain for sometime so that’s a factor as well. thank you.

I’m not sure if there is a "best" school in the U.S., but I am in the UC (University of California) system as a student, one of my majors being spanish.

I’m only just now a second-year, but so far every Spanish instructor I’ve had has been great. I am planning to study abroad in my third year, so unfortunately I don’t know much about the program yet. What I do know is that it is a pretty good program, and they offer many different options for studying abroad (different amounts of time spent abroad, different cities, different Spanish-speaking countries, etc.). I am either going to go to Spain or Chile, and I hope to go for a year. Another thing they let you do is use any of your financial aid or scholarships from the UCs to help pay for going abroad, so it is more like just moving schools to another country (granted, it’ll still probably cost more since you are going abroad).

Spanish (Spain) television programs aired in US?

I am looking for Spanish television programs specifically from Spain that air in the United States. I found "La que se avecina" on one of the digital channels, but I was wondering what shows are aired that come from Spain. I cannot really tell except by listening to the program for a bit. I have TV stations like Azteca TV in addition to the other main spanish channels. Name of the show and channel(s) please!

Zlatan

Look for " Aida " it’s a nice comedy program from Spain.

or look for it on a DVD store.

Does anyone know of any good programs for successfully learning Spanish?

…only from people who have actually used it and had success. I know about Rosetta Stone but it’s terribly expensive.

I use a book called spanish now, it comes w/ a cd
its extremely successful
i can already speak fluently a little

Good spanish programs online?

can you reccommend any spanish programs i can watch online that are funny? im doing GCSE spanish now and want to improve.
Thanks

Hmm I´ve been living in spain for 6 months now and I can tell you, Spanish TV sucks, however there are a few funny programs out there but the language in them is quite complex I would be suprised if your GCSE level spanish is up to making head or tail of the conversations. but you might pick up a few things, plus it´s like English comedy if your not English you will miss a lot of the funny things because you don´t understand the inner workings of the humour, My Girlfriend is Psanish and lived in England for 6 years she speaks English fluently but still she misses many of the jokes in Enlgish comedy, and likewise I miss a lot of the supposedly funny stuff when we´re watching TV here.

Aqui no hay quien viva
Yo soy Bea

of course many of these you can´t watch on line but you can download episodes using torrent software (I recommend uTorrent, and mininova.org for torrents to download). When I was learning Spanish I found that watching English language movies with Spanish subtitles helped a great deal, or even dubbed films that you´ve seen in English. you might have problems finding UK DVDs with Spanish subs though becasue Spain always dub films before release.
good luck

I live in Spain and find that most of my programs i download come in Spanish.?

Programs like i tunes come in Spanish Some programs you can change but not all.is there any settings I can alter to stop this happening please.

Each website that you visit will use a different method of picking your language.

Visit http://www.apple.com/ then go to the bottom of the page and pick SPAIN. Then you can visit the iTunes section and look for stuff in spanish. If you pick United States, then you should see English oriented stuff.

Good luck and Happy Computing!

Are there any programs in Argentina that teach both Spanish and Italian simultaneously?

Is this even a good idea, or will it be too confusing? I speak Spanish already, but would love to improve. Can’t afford a trip to Italy right now, but have always wanted to learn Italian. Thought it might be easier to learn Italian through spanish since they are so similar.

i dont think you woudl find a program like that. people who are argentine native would not be learning spanish and most people who want to learn italian woudl go to italy ( yeah some rich folks right ) so i dont think so. but i mean… you could take regular university classes to learn italian while in argentina. when i was in spain i sat in on on a french class for a few weeks. it was neat-o! i had already studied french adn spanish from english, but comparing spanish and french was cool. did you learn spanish from your parents or in school? and whats your level?
