Yo estoy… it’s from the verb ESTAR which means… to be somewhere or to be in… Yo estoy en la casa (Im in the house). Yo soy… it’s from the verb SER which means to be but it’s use for feelings, conditions or things related to existence… Yo soy feo (Im ugly)

“yo soy” se utlizia para lo que eres
(yo soy español, yo soy médico)
