How difficult is the AP Spanish Language exam?
Yes, I know . . . it’s a little late. But anyhow, I’m taking the AP spanish Language exam tomorrow, and I’m kind of freaking out because I don’t feel like I’ve been prepared enough in class (although I’ve been studying like crazy on my own).
So, for people that have taken this exam in particular (or are in the same boat that I’m in right now):
How difficult is this exam?
How much is it curved?
Any last minute helpful hints or tips or insights?
Thanks for the help!
I took it today. I have mixed emotions about it. I thought that some of the audio was very difficult to hear. Especially the radio segments and the "staticy" sound. I mostly had difficulty understanding because some of them speak muy rapido. Lol.The 8-minute writing thing was an easy topic, but I they definitely should’ve gave us more time! I also thought the topic of the essay was difficult because it’s not something that’s highly discussed and I didn’t know a lot of vocabulary words concerning the subject. But, the speaking portion should’ve been easy. Para mi, este fue dificil porque me puse muy nerviosa. I just froze! But, I hope you did well! All-in-all, you probably did well if you didn’t let those stupid nerves get to you like it did to me. By the way, I’m not hispanic, another disadvantage.
It’s actually very easy…although I’m hispanic, I took the test last year without taking the course and received a score of 5.

I’m taking AP German, but it’s pretty much exactly the same…you have like 3 listening section with about 5 questions per paragraph; you have 2-3 paragraphs to read about anything with following questions. Then there’s about 10 questions where you have 20 sec. to answer; a 6 picture series where you then have 2 min. to describe it and last but not least a beautiful essay to write.
you can practice from college board. they give you the previous year’s prompts and answers and what score each person received.
