I live in Spain and find that most of my programs i download come in Spanish.?
Programs like i tunes come in Spanish Some programs you can change but not all.is there any settings I can alter to stop this happening please.
Each website that you visit will use a different method of picking your language.
Visit http://www.apple.com/ then go to the bottom of the page and pick SPAIN. Then you can visit the iTunes section and look for stuff in spanish. If you pick United States, then you should see English oriented stuff.

use a US proxy. this way alll the websites you visit will think your are visiting from an english-based location.

your programs are actually probably being translated into spanish by windows. if you have windows xp, go to Start – Settings – Control Panel – Regional and Language Options.
There are three tabs, and make sure all of those correspond to the language or location you want the text to be displayed in.
