What household foods have some spanish writing on the wrapper?
In spanish class, we get extra credit if we have some spanish writing on an object from a spanish speeking country. I’ve brought in a bag of tortillas but thats just about it. Please help me! My class is tomorow and i’m in need of some extra credit! Thank you!
Salsa, chiles, mole, tostadas, frijoles refritos, tamal leaves (dried cornhusks) tamal masa, maseca (which is corn meal to make tortillas), spices like tomillo, comino, oregano, canela. A nice thing about Mexican food is we don’t depend on ready made stuff, we make our own if we want to.
Mexico would be your closest reference but you could also look for some Spanish (obviously from Spain) products like azafrán which are the yellow stems used to make paella, a rice dish and the rice is usually a saphron yellow.
well, here in New Mexico, every great value item has it in spanish ( its from walmart) Everything has it from mayonaise to creamer for coffee, or u can just ask an associate for the mexican section. try looking for mole, or the macaroni its usually got both english and spanish on em. If your not really a spanish speaking state like New Mexico or Cali or Anything along the border it’ll be harder to find.
